Hello there,

Are you interested in being a content creator or are you a content creator with no clue on tools you need to make your journey as a content creator easy? Then this is for you.

There are apps used for photo editing, video editing, graphic design and Instagram planners which are very beginner friendly. Most of them have features that might need to be paid for but you can sufficiently use the free features.

Visual appeal is very essential in content creating. You want to create good quality photos and video content.

PHOTO EDITING

Photo editing is an integral part of content creation. You want suitably edited and high-resolution photos. These apps are beginner friendly. I also teach photo editing and you can sign up by clicking the link on my Instagram bio.

There are two major apps I would be introducing to you. You can download them in your application store on your phone. Airbrush/ Facetune, VSCO, Lightroom are very beginner friendly.

VIDEO EDITING

Apps that you can use in editing your videos are INSHOT, VN, CAPCUT AND VIDEO LEAP. These apps are very beginner friendly and you can take time to play with the tools. Some have paid features but I am sure you can you can work with the free tools available. In your free time, you can try out tools that are available on these apps to see what actions they perform.

GRAPHIC DESIGN

As a content creator, you should be able to do basic graphic editing and knowing how to do this will help your branding as a content creator. The easiest app to use for this is CANVA. Like every other app, it has both free and paid features. You can maximize the free feature if you do not want to pay for the other features. Another app you can use for story graphics or check out on how it can help you is UNFOLD. With the Unfold app, you can create a bio site that has inks to all your other platforms. I used both apps to prepare the images for this blog post.

FEED PLANNERS FOR INSTAGRAM

Having a nice outlook on your feed s not priority as a content creator but it sure counts. You can plan your feed after you create content using MY FEED and the PREVIEW app. There are other feed planner apps but you can check these two out as a beginner content creator. With Preview though, the reels section is not merged with the feed but you can still work with it. There is no pressure to have a perfect feed but you can achieve a very neat outlook by using a planner.

MISCELLANOUS APPS

A major app I think every creator should have is PINTEREST. Apart from posting on there, you can get aesthetics and inspiration of all kinds on there. It is highly recommended.

Conclusively, I really hope you were able to learn a few things from this article and that your journey as a beginner content creator is less as hectic as someone who is clueless. You can also comment any apps you think I missed. See you in my next article.
